Apple is planning to unveil its much-anticipated new iPhone SE in the coming days, according to a report from Bloomberg. The company is expected to announce the device as early as next week, with sales beginning later this month.Sources say Apple will forgo a launch event and instead announce the device through a press release on its website. Inventory of the current iPhone SE has been dwindling for weeks, with some configurations unavailable for extended periods—further fueling speculation of an imminent replacement. Additionally, the current model was discontinued in the EU because it lacks a USB-C port.The new device, code-named V59, also will be Apple's first with an in-house cellular modem, replacing a component from Qualcomm Inc., Bloomberg News has reported.
