Henry Cavill's James Bond Screen Test Has Leaked Online
Henry Cavill is one of those fan-favorite actors that a lot of people have wanted to see take on the role of James Bond. The actor has also been keen on taking on the role over the years, most recently saying: “Maybe I'm too old now, maybe I'm not. It's up to Barbara Broccoli and Mike Wilson and we'll see what their plans are."At this point, it seems like that ship has sailed, but 20 years ago in 2005, Cavill did audition for the role for Casino Royal.Now, Cavill’s screen test has been leaked online, so for the first time, we can now all get a glimpse of what his version of Bond would’ve been like. He would’ve been awesome in the role! In the video, which you can watch below, Cavill reads scenes from Pierce Brosnan’s Goldeneye. The video sees Cavill speak some classic lines, including his order of a "vodka martini, shaken not stirred," and that his name is "Bond, James Bond." Casino Royale director Martin Campbell previously described Cavill’s audition as "tremendous." He said: "He looked great in the audition. His acting was tremendous. “And look, if Daniel didn’t exist Henry would have made an excellent Bond. He looked terrific, he was in great physical shape… very handsome, very chiseled.
