PS5 Pro Support Coming to Highly Anticipated Adventure Game

A highly-anticipated upcoming adventure game will be PS5 Pro Enhanced, according to its PS Store listing. Award-winning Hazelight Studios co-op title Split Fiction will release on March 6, 2025, and the split-screen adventure will apparently be eye candy for those with a PS5 Pro.

Hazelight has yet to confirm whether Split Fiction will support PS5 Pro right out of the gate or if a patch will be released post launch. The studio has also yet to reveal what the enhancements will entail.

Nevertheless, Hazelight games have all held up well since its popular 2018 debut with A Way Out, so we have little doubt that Split Fiction won’t look absolutely stellar on the PS5 Pro.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Split Fiction will put players in the role of two writers named Mio and Zoe who have somehow become trapped in their own stories. The game takes place in sci-fi and fantasy worlds. “Escape a sun that’s going supernova, challenge a monkey to a dance battle, try out some cool hoverboard tricks, fight an evil kitty and more,” reads an official description.

Like other Hazelight games, Split Fiction will come with a Friend’s Pass, allowing game owners to invite a friend to play for free.
