With three riders - including the reigning world champion - ruled out of at least the first pre-season test with injuries after just one day of running, MotoGP 2025 got off to a shockingly violent start at Sepang on Wednesday.

Champion Jorge Martin's horrible crash (his second of the day) left him with multiple fractures that require surgery, and may mean he misses all of the pre-season running.
