Filmmaker Paul Feig has revealed that the sequel to his 2018 dark comedy crime-thriller “A Simple Favor” has scored a new title – “Another Simple Favor”. In addition the first poster has also been released.
In the film, Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman.
Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.
Henry Golding also returns while Allison Janney, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, and Alex Newell also star.
Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis penned the script based on characters created by Darcey Bell.
The movie will hold its world premiere at the SXSW Film & Television Festival next month, the same place Feif successfully launched “Bridesmaids” and “Spy”. It then releases on Amazon Prime Video on May 1st.
