“Fantastic Four” Trailer To Debut On Tuesday

“Good Morning America” has reportedly confirmed that the teaser trailer for Marvel Studios’ “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” will be released on the program this coming Tuesday, February 4th (F4).

The trailer will be released online immediately after it airs on television. The trailer launch comes ahead of the Superbowl on Sunday February 9th where Marvel is expected to have two spots airing – one of which being “Captain America: Brave New World”.

Going early allows the “Fantastic Four” trailer to hog the headlines for several days free and clear, and not jostle with other high-profile spots during the big game including the first look at “Jurassic World: Rebirth” and a new spot for “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”.

It also opens up the possibility that “Thunderbolts*” will be the film to get a second Super Bowl spot rather than F4, which would likely be just a cut-down version of Tuesday’s trailer anyway.

The news was first seen in a press release via Disney’s ABC News Press Site, but the press release has been updated since and the listing no longer appears to be there.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, the film introduces Marvel’s First Family – Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) as they face their most daunting challenge yet.

“Fantastic Four: The First Steps” is slated to hit cinemas in July this year.
