Anthony Edwards will be without his co-star for a couple weeks.

Julius Randle has a right adductor strain and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Wednesday.

Randle, 30, sustained the injury early in the second quarter of a 138-113 win over the Utah Jazz on Jan. 30.

The six-foot-nine forward is averaging 18.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 48 games with the Timberwolves this season.

Randle was acquired by Minnesota along with Donte DiVincenzo and a first-round draft pick in a late off-season deal with the New York Knicks in exchange for superstar big man Karl-Anthony Towns.

A three-time All-Star over the course of his five years in New York, Randle’s production has dropped off significantly this season compared to his career averages of 22.6 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists during his Knicks tenure.
