How to set boundaries with my girlfriend [closed]
My girlfriend and I have been living together for roughly 2 years. Our relationship is not a healthy one and I’m wanting to implement boundaries to help something’s be addressed. One of those boundaries I’d like to implement is her getting in front of the door when we are having a heated conversation. I tell her I need some space and I go to leave and she gets in front of the door. I’ve picked her up and moved her before however I don’t want to do that because when things are heated and contact is physical it can snowball. Is there a healthy way for me to set boundaries about this. I’m open to answering questions. Edit: she’s a lot more reserved and introverted and I’m a little more extroverted. She doesn’t like the idea of female friends or me having brief conversations with them. And while I’ve deleted female contacts and cut off female friends I told her that there’s nothing wrong with brief banter. She also doesn’t like the idea of certain games like resident evil because it has provocative content? It seems like she’s feels insecure and jealous at times but when I mention it calmly she says that’s mean and she doesn’t want to hear that.
