LeBron James has broken his silence on the Luka Doncic trade. The 40-year-old spoke to reporters following the Los Angeles Lakers’ 122-97 win over the LA Clippers and clarified his thoughts on Doncic’s arrival. Doncic was present for the Lakers’ first game since his trade James put up a stunning performance on Tuesday night with 26 points, nine assists and eight rebounds in a thrashing that saw Doncic watch approvingly from the bench. For everyone inside the Intuit Dome, it felt like a new era had begun for the Lakers as the Doncic clapped and fist pumped almost every point scored by his new team.
