IHG One Rewards New Member 5,000 Bonus Points Sign Up Offer Through April 30, 2025

IHG has extended an offer to encourage new members to sign up for its guest loyalty program through April 30, 2025.

IHG One Rewards members who sign up for the program can earn 5,000 bonus points for their first stay within 21 days of enrollment.

Note that only cash stays, awards & Cash + Points are not eligible, with a nightly rate over $30, are eligible.

These bonus points are in addition to the base and other possible promotional points you earn for the stay.

Conclusion

IHG used to offer nonstop bonus points to attract new members, but these have become rare.

*This is a limited-time offer, beginning on 13 June 2024 and ending on 30 April 2025 (“Registration Period”). To participate in the “Stay and Get 5K Points” promotional offer (the “Offer”), an individual must enrol through the “Stay and Get 5K Points” offer landing page to be an IHG One Rewards member during the Registration Period. Once a member has enrolled, the member can earn 5,000 IHG One Rewards bonus points after completing a Promotion-Eligible Qualifying Stay booked directly with IHG. By enrolling for the Offer, a member is accepting these terms and conditions. To be eligible for the 5,000 bonus points, the Promotion-Eligible Qualifying Stay must be completed within 21 days (Offer Period) of the date that you enrolled in the IHG One Rewards programme and the reservation must be booked with the Member’s IHG One Rewards number. The time needed for awarding points can vary with each promotion, so please allow up to six (6) weeks for bonus points to be posted to your account.

For the purposes of this Offer, a ‘Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay’ is defined as a minimum 1-night stay at a participating hotel that was booked directly with IHG through ihg.com, the IHG One Rewards app, an IHG reservations call centre, an authorised travel agent (excluding any online travel agents or other online travel reservation sites, such as Expedia.com and booking.com, and unauthorised agents on online vertical travel portals), or directly with a participating hotel, using a Qualifying Rate and with a total spend exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) per night. Participating hotels include all IHG® Hotels & Resorts with the exception of those Six Senses® Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One Rewards. Iberostar Beachfront Resorts that are not yet integrated into the IHG One Rewards programme also do not participate in this Promotion. Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion-Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Offer. A stay does not qualify for the offer if the Member does not book the reservation using their IHG One Rewards Member number.

The Offer can only be redeemed once during the Offer Period by the member who enrolled, and a maximum of 5,000 IHG One Rewards bonus points can be achieved. A member’s participation in the IHG One Rewards programme and this Offer are subject to the standard IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be obtained here or by visiting ihgonerewards.com. The bonus points awarded through this Offer are not Elite status qualifying under the IHG One Rewards programme. The time needed for awarding points can vary with each promotion, so please allow up to 6 weeks for the bonus points to be posted to the recipient’s member account.

The bonus points earned during the ‘Stay and Get 5K Points’ Offer can be used toward Reward Nights and redeemed for merchandise or used for other redemption opportunities, as permitted under the IHG One Rewards programme.

IHG One Rewards benefits are generally available at all IHG® Hotels & Resorts and other alliance hotels participating in the programme, with exceptions for the following brands:

• The portfolio of Iberostar Beachfront Resorts excludes any interests in Cuba.
