URUGUAY. Our images selection today comes from Punta del Este International Airport, where Avolta has unveiled a duty-free store on the site of the airport’s FBO (Fixed-Base Operator, also known as a private jet terminal).
The retailer claims it to be the first duty-free store located in a Latin American FBO. The store features a vast array of well-known brands.
Avolta President & CEO Latin America & Caribbean Enrique Urioste announced the opening on LinkedIn.
The FBO forms part of the General Aviation Terminal at Punta del Este Airport, which serves the coastal city of Punta del Este and the adjoining Maldonado municipality.
