Intent-Based Design in Web3: Lessons from Okto’s Architecture.

About 5 years ago, I started perfecting my craft around graphical illustration and I decided to start making money with it. That led me to register on a freelancing platform. After applying for a few gigs I got a gig from a T-shirt company who asked that I make designs on cloth for them. After our first conversation, I was asked to send a sample of my work, and I acted foolishly, I sent them three original designs of mine, and it was the end of the whole gig that I was very excited about. They stopped chatting with me and I could not even trace their account on the platform again, though I still have their name. Not more than a year later, I decided to search for the brand name on an e-commerce website, to my surprise, one of my designs was among their top-selling designs. It was a painful experience as I told the story again. In 2022, I learned of web3 and NFT at a creators' conference and was excited about the promise of true ownership that I would have over my craft. Having seen what I have been through, I jumped on it immediately not knowing a few other things surrounding it. Someone had been helping me for over a year on the platform I was on. At some point during those times, I was trying to learn it myself but the whole thing about Wallets, gas fees, seed phrases, and cross-chain swaps was confusing for me. It was toward my birthday in March 2024 that I saw a retweet about Okto and the tag on it was just "Simplicity". As my custom is, I wanted to read through and I did just that but I was caught up and decided to read through. It was funny when I found out that I wouldn't need to study some technical setup to get my NFT minted. This marks the end of employing the service of someone else to do things for me. The gasless transactions, unified wallet accounts, and seamless cross-chain swaps were the first bait that got my attention but what became my sweetheart was how Okto's was built to understand and carry out the users' intent with no Technical expertise required. Let me introduce you properly to Okto. Okto is more than just a Web3 platform; it’s a gateway to a decentralized future, designed to make blockchain accessible for everyone. By eliminating the complexities of wallets, gas fees, and cross-chain liquidity, Okto is popularizing blockchain technology and paving the way for mass adoption. I would love to tell you about all of Okto's features and the benefits they bring to the Table and also share with you the revolutionary innovation they brought in a very simplistic way. Gasless Transactions: With Okto’s gasless transactions, worries vanished and users can mint their NFTs and interact with dApps without worrying about gas fees. 2 . Unified Wallet Infrastructure: Okto’s Decentralized Wallet Networks (DWNs) changed everything. It has a single wallet that works across all networks, from Ethereum to Polygon to Binance Smart Chain. So there won't be a need to handle different seed phrases or switch between apps. Seamless Cross-Chain Swaps: Okto’s Universal Liquidity Layer (ULL) made it effortless. With just a few clicks, the users could move assets across chains, unlocking new opportunities for their art. The revolutionary innovation I am talking about is : Intent-Based Design This brought down the complexity of pictures we had of different DApps I have tried interacting with in the past. It is like magic to me, I only need to tell Okto what I want to do and it would get it done ASAP. This was a whole new phase in web3 for me. I minted my first NFT collection, connected with collectors across chains, and even started exploring decentralized finance (DeFi) with confidence. When I told my friends who were also a graphical artist like me that I had minted my first NFT collection without needing anyone's help, they thought of me as a professional but that was the Magic of Okto. They all wanted my help and I simply introduced them to Okto, that was it, I let my secret sauce out to them. Okto has brought in a new order to how web3 has been perceived as just something that is made only for Tech-Savvy, It has brought down the technicality with the intent-based design and makes it simple. Let me tell you how Okto is getting that done: -It has brought down the complexity and technicality constraints and made their Users focus on their goals. -It has helped the developers with a tool like Okto Software Development Kit (SDK) and wallet Provider to build DApps that prioritize user experience. -take away the gas fee and have a unified wallet infrastructure. What Okto has done would foster and bridge the adoption gap in the web3 world by bringing the Globe on the chain. If you are a graphical artist and a designer like me and you have had some setbacks around the web3 space or you are just thinking of coming in, let me congratulate you, your freedom is at your doorstep. This freedom is not only for you but everyone thinking of building the next big DApp, Okto intent-based design

Intent-Based Design in Web3: Lessons from Okto’s Architecture.

The gasless transactions, unified wallet accounts, and seamless cross-chain swaps were the first bait that got my attention but what became my sweetheart was how Okto's was built to understand and carry out the users' intent with no Technical expertise required.
