Ghost in the Shell receberá sua maior exposição em 2026

Em comunicado oficial, Production I.G. e Science SARU anunciaram que vão realizar a maior exposição da história da franquia Ghost in the Shell em 2026.

"Em celebração ao 30º aniversário do anime cinematográfico Ghost in the Shell, de 1995, a primeira exposição cross-series foi confirmada para Tóquio em 2026!"

Disseram os estúdios.

"Desde o mangá original de Shirow Masamune até a nova série em anime de TV que irá ao ar no próximo ano, produzida pela Science SARU, esta será a maior exposição da história da franquia, mostrando todas as animações do legado de trinta anos da franquia."

Os projetos confirmados são:

• Ghost in the Shell
• Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
• Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
• Ghost in the Shell Arise
• Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045
• The Ghost in the Shell (2026)

Originalmente criado por Masamune Shirow como um mangá, a história cyberpunk de Ghost in the Shell segue a Major Motoko Kusanagi, líder da Seção 9, uma força-tarefa que combate crimes tecnológicos e ciberterrorismo em nome da Comissão Nacional Japonesa de Segurança Pública, em um futuro cyberpunk onde quase todos os seres humanos tem uma certa quantidade de implantes cibernéticos. O próprio corpo de Kusanaki é inteiramente artificial.
