Taylor Swift once asked The Temper Trap to handwrite the lyrics to one of their biggest hits for Harry Styles‘ birthday.

Speaking in a recent TikTok post, the band recalled the moment Swift made the request at the Aria Awards during the period she was dating Styles from 2012 to 2013.

The band learned of Styles’ love for their music after he got a tattoo of their lyrics from their debut single ‘Sweet Disposition’.

“I think [Styles] tweeted that he got it, so then, you know, it was brought to our attention,” lead singer Dougy Mandagi said before pointing out that Styles, who was in One Direction at the time, got the lyrics wrong on his tattoo.
