Travis Scott's "4X4" Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 This Week

Travis Scott's "4X4" has officially debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. The track, which only released on January 24, is the rapper's fifth Hot 100 leader. "4X4" follows Scott's Young Thug and M.I.A. assisted "Franchise" from October 2020 for a week, as well as "The Scotts" with Kid Cudi from May 2020, "Highest in the Room" from October 2019 and "Sicko Mode" on December 18. All of these have debuted at No. 1 for "Sicko Mode," which started at No. 4. "4X4" was debuted atop Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium when Travis Scott appeared for the College Football Playoff National Championship halftime show on January 20. With the release of the track coinciding near the L.A. fires, the song's CD single as well as other offerings will benefit Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund. Other notable tracks this week is Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy) which sits at No. 5 on the Hot 100 list after a record-tying 19 weeks at No. 1.
