IHG One Rewards 5,000-Point New Member Bonus

IHG One Rewards’ bonus for new members
New IHG One Rewards members can earn 5,000 bonus points after completing their first stay. As you’d expect, there are some terms to be aware of:
- You need to register through this link by April 30, 2025
- You must complete your first stay within 21 days of registering for the program; that sure is restrictive, so make sure you time your registration accordingly
- A qualifying stay for the purposes of this promotion is a stay booked directly with IHG that has a rate of at least $30 (before taxes and fees), and which is eligible to earn points
- It can take up to six weeks for the 5,000 bonus points to post
- Existing members aren’t eligible for this promotion (obviously)
Personally I value IHG points at 0.5 cents each, so to me the 5,000 bonus points are worth $25. So it’s probably not worth going out of your way to make a stay just to take advantage of this, but if you were considering an IHG stay anyway, then it’s of course worth joining the program.

If you can take advantage of this, then it’s definitely worth considering.
