Casting News: Cline, Mollica, Wise, Radcliffe, Jupe

Day Drinker
Madelyn Cline (“Outer Banks”) will join Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz in the Marc Webb-directed action thriller “Day Drinker” at Lionsgate.

The story follows a cruise ship bartender who meets a mysterious day drinker – only for both of them to find themselves entangled in a criminal underbelly and connected in unexpected ways. [Source: Variety]

Vision
Ruaridh Mollica (“The Franchise”) has scored a series regular role alongside Paul Bettany in the “Vision” series for Disney+ and Marvel Studios. Mollica will play a character named Tucker.

The story takes place after the events in “WandaVision” with Vision (Bettany) trying to regain his memory and humanity. James Spader will reprise his role of Ultron, Faran Tahir will reprise the role of Raza and Todd Stashwick also stars. [Source: Deadline]

Daniel Radcliffe and Lucas Hedges will star in the Will Graham-directed Vietnam War thriller “Trust the Man”. The story follows an ambitious Army Intelligence officer assigned to investigate a decorated soldier with a mysterious past. Killer Bee
DeWanda Wise (“Jurassic World Dominion”) is set to star in Confluential Films’ action feature “Killer Bee” based on the graphic novel by David Crownson.

Wise will portray a retiring assassin who takes on a criminal network after being tasked to kill a man she recently fell for. Kevin Arbouet and Terry Rossio will pen the script. [Source: Variety]

The Death of Robin Hood
Bill Skarsgard (“IT”), Murray Bartlett (“The White Lotus”) and Noah Jupe (“A Quiet Place”) have all joined the visceral thriller “The Death of Robin Hood” alongside Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer.

The story follows Robin Hood grappling with his past after a life of crime and murder. In the hands of a mysterious woman, he is offered a chance of salvation. Michael Sarnoski pens and directs the film that begins filming in Ireland this week. [Source: THR]
