Need help figuring out how to fix old doweled chair leg
As you can see, this chair foot snapped when I sat on it. It's my grandmother's and very old and important to her, so I would like to fix it well so that it doesn't break again. My best idea would be some sort of glue but I don't know if glue would be sound enough and I don't have the resources to make a new leg. If there is some glue yall know that would fix this up tight and be strong enough to handle someone sitting on it again (most likely not my 240lb ass ever again).
