Visible for Home Internet?
Hi Everyone, My scenario/situation: I unfortunately must now relocate in Central, FL from one rental house to another at 10 + miles apart. I'm presently using my iPhone 13 with the $30 per month Cricket Wireless plan, for my basic phone needs, which is, sending & receiving calls and texting, that's it, and believe it or not, I never take the phone outside of the house when I go out and why might you ask? Because, I only got it because it's unbelievably cheaper then a Landline and if I need one in an Emergency, I believe it's safe to say from what I see, "Everyone has One with them" I have and soon will have had, Spectrum Internet 100 (100Mps) Introductory $29.99 per month plan which, is & was way more then I would ever need, as I use the internet only for email and occasional searching & browsing.and nothing more. Before I put together this thread I searched probably almost every reddit one in reference to Visible and unfortunately no one has answered what I gratefully would liked answered, which is, Seeing what I only do with the Internet could I hopefully be able to use Visible as my Home Internet and if so, can I keep the Hotspot always On or do I need to turn it Off when I'm not using Internet? The reason why I need this answer is, Spectrum unfortunately & unbelievably doesn't service where I'm relocating to and CenturyLink & Xfinity (The only 2 available providers) want an unbelievable $70 + per month for Basic Internet, which I just can't justify for what I need and do. Finally, I live by myself with no other means of phone communication so, How could Visible expect someone in my situation to have their present Carrier disconnected while they wait for a physical SIM card, which I greatly prefer and not an eSIM, which I definitely don't want? Why can't they just mail out the SIM card to the potential customer and then when it arrives it can be activated to join one of their plans? Thanks Everyone! submitted by /u/Ok_Arm278 [link] [comments]
