All DIY Home Projects… so far
I apologize for not having a before image for my cabinet, but believe me it was bad before. Rabbit chewed it up, so a bunch of wood putty, sanding, priming, and painting later — here we are! Touched up the grout in the kitchen, basically redid it in white. Looks cleaner. Bathroom…ugh. Landlord had plastered and then painted over the tiles. Paint was peeling and we couldn’t even properly clean the bathroom floor! Plaster was chipping away too! Ended up paint removing, plaster removing (took weeks without proper tools), getting rid of some of the old grout, polishing the ceramic tiles, grouting it, grouting it again, touching up up, and redoing the caulk around the perimeter of the bathroom floor (we also did the bathtub but it wasn’t really worth posting, pretty easy job just need to clean up the excess later). Honestly I should really do more to the grout itself, like clean up the lines and seal it, but I haven’t had the time yet. So yeah….feeling good. Whatcha think? (I’m not a professional whatsoever please this is like my first time doing ANYTHING like this and I jumped into the deep end head first, but I knew what I wanted and it wasn’t an ugly and unclean-able space!) submitted by /u/TheCatmosphere [link] [comments]
