A.PRESSE Endorses Summertime Suiting With Tailoring Capsule

Luxury Japanese menswear label A.PRESSE has unveiled a new collaborative capsule with retailer everyone Tokyo, focusing solely on an elegant suit jacket and trousers.Designer Kazuma Shigematsu's distilled approach, which focuses on carefully crafting individual garments rather than themed collections, is especially prominent in the pared-back release. Made from wool gabardine, the jacket and trousers wear with a luxurious drape while remaining loose and unrigid for warmer temperatures. The wide-legged trousers feature small pleats at the waist that are just big enough not to become a distraction from the greater whole. Unlike distressed SS25 pieces like the Vintage Denim Coverall Jacket and the Vintage Black Chambray Work Pants, Shigematsu's meticulous artificial patina applications are left out in the new capsule, giving the tailoring a clean and refreshing feel.As the 2025 Met Gala nears, anticipation for the “Tailored for You" red carpet dress code has put tailoring front and center in menswear. Other brands from luxury titans like Louis Vuitton to streetwear names like Noah have been leaning into the category too.
