We’ve just seen a huge new welcome offer rolled out on The New United Quest℠ Card, which is arguably United’s easiest to justify co-branded Chase credit card. If this card has been on your radar, this would be an ideal time to apply. Let’s go over the details.
United Quest Card best-ever bonus details
The United Quest Card has a huge best-ever welcome offer, consisting of two parts. After spending $4,000 within the first three months, you can earn 100,000 MileagePlus bonus miles plus 3,000 Premier Qualifying Points (PQPs), which can help you toward earning status.
Personally, I value MileagePlus miles at 1.1 cents each, so to me those bonus miles are worth $1,100. Then there’s the additional value of the 3,000 PQPs, though the value of that will depend on the extent to which you’re pursuing elite status.
United Quest Card eligibility requirements
If you’re interested in applying for the United Quest Card, the typical Chase credit card application restrictions apply. Beyond that, the terms are pretty simple. Specifically, here are the restrictions:
This card product is available to you if you do not have this card and have not received a new Cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months.
So you’re eligible for the welcome offer on the card as long as you don’t currently have this exact card, and haven’t received a bonus on this card in the past 24 months. Eligibility is unrelated to having any other co-branded Chase United credit card, whether personal or business.
Why the United Quest Card could be worth it
The United Quest Card has a $350 annual fee, though it offers a bunch of perks that can help offset that. The card offers the following benefits and perks, among other things:
- $200 in United TravelBank cash annually, which can be used to purchase United flights
- Up to 10,000 MileagePlus miles in anniversary flight credits, when you use your miles for an award ticket that contains at least one segment on United
- Up to $180 in Instacart credits annually, in the form of a $15 monthly credit through December 31, 2027
- Up to $150 in JSX flight credits annually, when you use your card to book a JSX flight
- Up to $150 in credits for Renowned Hotels and Resorts annually, when booking a pre-paid stay and paying with your card
- Up to $100 in rideshare credits annually, in the form of an $8 monthly credit ($12 in December) when paying with your card
- A free first & second checked bag
- 25% savings on United inflight purchases, including of food, beverages, and Wi-Fi
- The ability to spend your way toward elite status — earn one PQP for every $20 spent on purchases, up to 18,000 PQPs per year

Bottom line
The United Quest Card has a new best-ever welcome offer of 100,000 MileagePlus miles plus 3,000 PQPs upon completing minimum spending. This is a great offer on a card that I consider to be pretty easy to justify, assuming you fly United with any frequency.
Best of all, eligibility for the card’s bonus is unrelated to having had any other co-branded Chase or United card, so lots of people should be eligible. If this card has been on your radar but you haven’t yet picked it up, this would be a fantastic time to apply.
Anyone plan to pick up the the United Quest Card with 100K miles plus 3K PQPs?
