Isurus and Estral have ended their partnership, leaving Isurus to compete in Riot’s League of Legends circuit.

As a result of the partnership between the Argentinian and Mexican organisations ending, Isurus will retain the spot in the LoL Championship of The Americas (LTA).

Formed ahead of the 2025 LTA season, Isurus and Estral Esports announced a merger, resulting in the formation of Isurus Estral. The team then competed in the LTA competition, filling the guest slot.

After starting Split 2 on the back foot, the organisation added Korean top laner Park ‘Summit’ Woo-tae to the starting lineup, eventually ending the split with a top-three placement. However, things are changing on the business side now. It’s unclear if player changes are also coming.

“Today, we want to share that our alliance with Estral Esports has come to an end,” revealed Isurus in an announcement.

“At Isurus, we’ve spent over a decade working to help more people and organisations achieve their dreams in esports. That’s why we support Estral and wish them the best of luck in this new chapter. We’ll continue with one clear goal, to win Split 3 and qualify for Worlds.”

During the partnership between Isurus and Estral Esports, the merged team managed to achieve success, winning Split 1 of LTA South to secure qualification for the LTA Cross-Conference event where it placed in the top eight.

What’s Next For Isurus?

Split 3 of LTA South is set to take place in August, with eight teams from South America competing for a chance to qualify for the regional finals and a place at the League of Legends World Championship.

The LTA features three qualification slots for the season-ending event, taking place across Chengdu, Shanghai and Beijing, China.

Following the end of Isurus Estral, Isurus has yet to reveal information on the players representing the organisation for the upcoming split.
