Best way to waterproof this section of basement
Hey Everyone, I have a basement that is mostly waterproof except this one section. My basement has I beams all inside the foundation to prevent inward bowing. Only one allows water intrusion as the rest of the basement flooding is mitigated from a French drain and sump pump system. I’ve removed this I beam as it was rusted at the bottom and didn’t provide much support in the first place. I have done all I can on the outside to prevent water intrusion. What is the best way for me to seal this section of cinder block that was covered by the I beam so no more water gets in through these cinder blocks? FYI. Water intrusion is minimal and only creates a slightly wet foundation of about 4 square feet. Thanks for the advice! submitted by /u/LakeEffect42 [link] [comments]
