Building a picknick table - Best wood choice? And what finish is the longest lasting?
Im going to use a metal kit from menards for like 60$. Options: green treated 2x6 boards (I could also build out of 2x10s) - with or without stain and polyurethane coating Cedar 2x6 boards - with or without polyurethane I just want this to be the best looking LONG term. Is it smart to poly over green treated or cedar? I will be leaving this out in the elements 365 days per year in Iowa weather. Any advice on selection would be appreciated. submitted by /u/HenFruitEater [link] [comments]
