Can I tile over this subfloor?

I am tearing the floor out of my bathroom in my house built in 1930. Under the peel and stick was 1/4” ply over top of hardwood flooring on top of this diagonal sub floor. It has gaps and a lot of it is pretty unsteady and rotted behind the toilet and sink because of bad Reno before. I’m thinking of putting blocking under the loose parts that they messed up and replacing the rotted parts with 3/4 ply. With the small gaps between the subfloor boards, should I put down thin ply on top of it or just cut it all out and replace with 3/4 ply? submitted by /u/DStark62 [link] [comments]
