Carpet or vinyl plank in basement?
We have a walkout basement on a hill. Poured foundation. Foundation in good shape. Currently have carpet in walkout basement that needs to be replaced. Have you guys had this dilemma? The LVP seems to look better overall. Carpet provides that cozy feeling though. Plus we have a 1 year old that’s gonna be playing around down there, carpet is softer for his falls. I won’t DIY carpet but I think I can handle LVP. What do you prefer or what would you recommend? LVP would make it feel more like a real living space I think, but the carpet is more comfortable. Thanks in advance submitted by /u/Dazzling_Bus4386 [link] [comments]
