Continuing existing brickwork
I have a wall of breeze blocks which is square but with 3 sides there inside is soil with a rose bush in at the back is an old fence which needs to be removed due to age I don't want to put a new fence there. I want to square it off with breeze blocks I have to replace the wood my issue is there is a mud patch behind and I have tried to dig down to ground level but far over there is a tree and it's rooted into the mud patch in question the roots are fairly big I don't want to hurt or damage the trees roots. I am wondering if I put gravel and sand on top of the mud patch would it be possible to lay the breeze blocks on there then ? The mud patch is really sturdy just need some advice as I have never done brick/block work this way so is it possible submitted by /u/Priestessofthemoon87 [link] [comments]
