Deal alert: Points and miles travel deals for April 2025

Editor’s note: This is a recurring post, regularly updated with new information and offers. Some of the below offers may be targeted.

From bonus points on your next hotel stay to generous sales of airline miles, we’re always looking for travel deals that help you earn more points and miles and redeem them for maximum value. In other words, we want to help you book the vacation of your dreams.

This week, we found 30% off select Southwest fares when you book by Monday. Plus, there are several hotel deals are still ongoing for Wyndham’s Member Month. The ever-popular Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card (see rates and fees) is also offering a 100,000-point bonus — its highest ever — after you spend $5,000 on purchases within the first three months of account opening. But that’s not all.

We help our readers each week by rounding up ongoing promotions so they don’t have to scour the internet for the best reward redemptions and offers. This includes everything from frequent flyer programs and hotel rewards programs to credit card offers and rental car deals. Here’s our latest list of noteworthy new points and miles promotions for April.

Airline loyalty program promotions (April 2025)

Airline loyalty programs can offer trip discounts on certain dates as well as the chance to earn more miles for future travel and deals to rack up points toward elite status. Below are some of the best offers we found for April.

Earn a free flight when you visit Canada

Thinking about visiting Canada, eh? With this promotion, you can earn up to 6,000 bonus Air Canada Aeroplan points — enough for a one-way short-haul flight within North America — when you fly between the U.S. and Canada.

• Fly between a U.S. airport and a Canadian airport, and you’ll receive 3,000 bonus Aeroplan points on a one-way flight and 6,000 bonus points on a round-trip flight.
• To qualify for this promotion, flights must be operated by Air Canada (including Air Canada Express and Air Canada Rouge). Codeshare and interline flights are excluded. Eligible fares include most fare types except basic economy.
• Register and book by April 13, then travel by Dec. 15.

Earn bonus Turkish miles on Hilton stays

If you collect Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles miles, you can earn an extra 1,000 miles on your next Hilton stay — in addition to the Hilton Honors points you’d normally earn.

• Earn 1,000 Turkish miles on your first stay during the promotional period in any hotel or resort within the Hilton portfolio.
• Prior to checkout, you must add your Miles&Smiles number to your Hilton Honors account and set Miles&Smiles as your preferred travel partner. The names in your Hilton Honors and Miles&Smiles accounts must match in order to earn miles.
• Register and book by April 30, then complete your stay by June 30.

Hotel loyalty program promotions (April 2025)

Hotel loyalty programs occasionally offer discounted stays, ways to earn extra points and deals at various properties. Here are some April deals to consider when booking your next stay.

Earn double Accor points in North and Central America

Whether you’re dreaming of sun-soaked beaches or heading north to escape the heat, this promotion from Accor Live Limitless can be doubly rewarding on your spring and summer travels. ALL points are among the most valuable loyalty currencies out there, worth 2 cents each according to our April 2025 valuations.

• Earn double ALL points on stays at participating properties in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, Panama and Brazil.
• Activate this offer and book by July 31, and you’ll earn bonus points on stays through Sept. 12.

Double your Marriott points on vacation rentals

If you’re looking for more space or a full kitchen, this Marriott Homes & Villas deal is for you. Since Marriott Bonvoy members typically earn 5 points per dollar on Homes & Villas stays, this promotion will earn you an impressive 10 points per dollar on your next vacation rental.

• Earn double Marriott Bonvoy points on paid Homes & Villas stays of three or more nights.
• Register and book by May 4. The offer applies to stays between May 1 and Sept. 30.

Rental car loyalty program promotions (April 2025)

Earn a free rental day when you rent twice with National

Summer is just around the corner, and now is a great time to start planning your next road trip. With National Emerald Club’s “One Two Free” promotion, you can earn one free rental day for every two qualifying rentals.

• Earn one promotional free day (covers base rate, time and mileage only) for every two eligible midsize or larger vehicle rentals of at least two consecutive days.
• You can earn additional free days when you rent for longer than seven consecutive days; see the terms and conditions for details.
• Register here and complete your qualifying rentals by June 22.

Credit card promotions (April 2025)

Card issuers sometimes offer deals and discounts for certain cardholders on everything from airfare to dining. Here are some of the offers we’ve rounded up this week. Remember that you must activate these offers on your card and use your enrolled card to make the purchase to earn bonus rewards.

Targeted Amex Offer at Luxury Escapes

Luxury Escapes is a vacation package platform offering flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, experiences and more. This Amex Offer, which we found on The Platinum Card® from American Express, could save you 12% on Luxury Escapes bookings over the next few months.

• Earn 12% back (up to $350 in total statement credits) on Luxury Escapes bookings made through the Luxury Escapes website, app or phone line.
• This offer ends July 15.

Targeted Chase Offer at Candlewood Suites

Candlewood Suites is an extended-stay brand in the IHG portfolio, but it’s perfect for anyone traveling with pets or hoping to cut travel costs by dining in. This offer, which we found on the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, could save you some cash on your next stay.

• Earn 10% cash back on your Candlewood Suites stay (up to a $62 cash back maximum) when you spend $100 or more.
• You must make the payment directly with the merchant by May 31.

Ongoing travel deals

In addition to these new offers, many others from previous weeks are still available:

• Earn double Choice Privileges base points on up to four qualifying stays at participating properties booked directly through Choice or Book by Google. Register for this promotion, then book and stay by April 7.
• Get a points rebate when you redeem Aeroplan points for hotels and car rentals through Air Canada’s booking platform: 10,000 points back when you redeem 40,000 or more points on a stay or rental and 25,000 points back when you redeem at least 100,000 points. If you hold an Aeroplan® Credit Card, you’ll get an additional 5,000 points back. Register and book by April 13, then complete travel by Sept. 30.
• Earn 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy bonus points and one bonus elite night credit for each eligible paid night you stay at participating properties booked directly through Marriott — with no limit to how much you can earn. Register through April 14 for stays through April 28.
• Earn up to 3,500 bonus nonqualifying ITA Airways Volare points when you fly at least two routes with Lufthansa, Swiss, Austrian Airlines or Brussels Airlines; earn 1,000 bonus points for two routes to domestic or European destinations and/or 2,500 bonus points for two routes to intercontinental destinations. • Earn double AAdvantage miles on eligible vacation packages booked through American Airlines Vacations. Register by April 19, and you’ll earn bonus miles on eligible travel through Sept. 30.
• Earn up to 7,000 bonus points total at participating Radisson Rewards properties: 500 points for your first stay, 3,000 points for your second stay and 3,500 points for your third stay. Register for this promotion, then book and stay by April 24.
• Earn 5,000 bonus IHG One Rewards points for joining the program and completing your first stay. You must register and complete your first stay within 21 days of joining. You have until April 30 to register and stay.
• Receive a $50 Best Western gift card when you stay two nights between now and May 11 at any Best Western hotel in the U.S., Canada or the Caribbean. You can use this promotion up to two times for a maximum of two $50 gift cards per member. Gift cards will expire Aug. 3.
• Earn 2,000 bonus Marriott Bonvoy points per night, up to a maximum of 10,000 bonus points, when you stay at one of six New Orleans properties. Book with promo code “S2449” and complete your stay by May 15.
• Earn triple IHG One Rewards points on every eligible paid stay in Germany. Register and book directly by May 31, then complete your stay(s) by July 6.
• Earn 777 bonus World of Hyatt points per eligible night, up to 10 nights total, at 20 participating casino hotels and resorts worldwide. Register first, then stay between April 10 and June 9.
• Earn 20% bonus Accor Live Limitless points on qualifying bookings you make through the app by June 30. Download the app.
• Earn up to 1,500 bonus HawaiianMiles on car rentals at participating Avis and Budget locations in the U.S. when you add your HawaiianMiles number to your reservation at booking and complete your rental by July 31. For Avis, book with Avis Worldwide Discount code “A368908” and coupon code “MUAA023.” For Budget, use Budget Customer Discount code “R901009” and coupon code “MUAZ036.”

Additionally, many stand-alone Amex and Chase offers are still available across a variety of credit cards. Keep in mind that these offers are targeted. You need to activate them prior to making an eligible purchase to receive cash back, bonus points or miles.

• Earn 10% back (up to $125 maximum) as a statement credit on prepaid hotel purchases at Expedia. Book and prepay online by April 6.
• Earn a $250 statement credit after spending $1,000 or more on room rate and room charge purchases incurred at the time of reservation for Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy properties. This offer expires April 13.
• Earn $200 back as a statement credit when you spend at least $1,000 on one or more Norwegian Cruise Line purchases (excluding onboard purchases, shore excursions and Norwegian gift cards) at Norwegian’s website or by phone at 888-438-7114. This offer expires April 13.
• Earn $60 as a statement credit when you spend at least $300 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Hilton properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories. This offer expires April 30.
• Earn a one-time $300 statement credit when you spend at least $2,000 on one or more Qatar Airways purchases (must be Qatar-operated flights booked online in dollars). This offer expires April 30.
• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend at least $500 on one or more room rate and lift ticket purchases at participating Vail Resort properties. Book online or at 800-432-3186 by April 30.
• Earn $50 as a statement credit when you spend at least $250 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Hilton properties by April 30.
• Earn a one-time $60 statement credit when you spend at least $300 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Viceroy Hotels and Resorts in U.S. cities. Book through Viceroy’s website by May 5.
• Earn a one-time $300 statement credit when you spend at least $1,500 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Viceroy Hotels and Resorts in the U.S. and Mexico. Book through Viceroy’s website by May 5.
• Earn an extra 5 Membership Rewards points per eligible dollar spent (up to 50,000 bonus points) on your AmaWaterways purchase. This offer ends May 6.
• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $500 on a single purchase on room rate and room charge purchases at participating Mandarin Oriental properties in the U.S. and Europe by May 6.
• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend a minimum of $400 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating SLS Hotels in the U.S. and select global locations. Prepaid bookings are excluded. Book through the SLS website by May 14.

• Earn a one-time $100 statement credit when you spend at least $500 on one or more room rate and room charge purchases at participating Preferred Hotels & Resorts in the U.S. and globally. Book by June 23.

Targeted Chase Offers

• Earn 10% cash back on your Best Western stay, up to a $32 cash-back maximum, when you spend $100 or more on a single purchase directly with the merchant at domestic properties of Best Western, Best Western Plus, Best Western Premier, Vib, Glo, Aiden and Executive Residency. You must make the complete payment for your stay by April 21.
• Earn 15% cash back (up to $50 maximum) on your U.S. RVshare rental purchase, including taxes and after any discounts. The payment must be made online directly with the merchant by April 30.
• Earn $40 cash back on your Palladium Hotel Group stay when you spend $100 or more in a single purchase directly with the merchant. This offer ends May 1.
• Earn 7% cash back(up to $28 maximum) on your Thompson Hotels stay when you spend $100 or more. Complete payment for your stay must be made directly with the merchant by May 2.
• Earn 7% cash back (up to $28 maximum) on your Park Hyatt stay when you spend $100 or more. Complete payment for your stay must be made directly with the merchant by May 2.
• Earn $30 cash back when you spend $150 or more in a single purchase with car-sharing service Turo, including taxes and after any discounts, by May 23.
