Guidance with silicon seal application
I am building a greenhouse from a kit and will soon be faced with having to silicon seal all the window (plexi) edges. I am HORRIBLE at using a silicon seal gun; I create big blobs which goosh out the side where I don't want it. Or create gaps and running a wet finger along often either doesn't fill it or I get big blobs that run out the side.......... or an uneven application. And these guns - sometimes they seem too hard to pull the trigger to get a flow going .... or they run out of forward play and I have to release and repull..... and get a big blob. Can anyone recommend A) a decent tool and B) a really good DIY video to help me be better at this? Thanks. submitted by /u/welkinator [link] [comments]
