Homecoming: Equinox Is a Half-Cozy Horseback-Riding MMO, and Half Occult Mystery

We bet you didn't have a game like this on your BINGO card for this week. Blue Scarab (made up former Helldivers 2, Battlefield, World of Warcraft, and Star Stable developers) has announced Equinox: Homecoming, the trailer for which (you can watch it above) will take you on quite a ride (no pun intended). It's in development for PC.

So what is it? As the team at describes it, "Equinox is an open-world MMORPG for fans of murder mysteries, cozy escapism, and horses! Saddle up and charge into a mysterious adventure. Every trail leads to wonder and intrigue while uncovering an occult murder mystery." The first screenshots are in the gallery below.

“We're very excited to see what people make of Equinox. We’ve had faith throughout development that there is an audience out there for different and interesting experiences,” said Craig Morrison, the Studio Creative Director. “Yes, there is definitely a risk, but we're in a position where we can take this shot and try to provide players with a truly unique world and story.”

Yes, there are cozy woods beautifully scenic hillsides to peacefully ride through, but there's also the mystery of the sudden disappearance of your mother that needs to be solved.
