The crew and the captain went their separate ways years ago for various reasons, and he's tasked you with getting them back to Thirdborn for one final drink. When Captain Ngunu is done explaining, make sure you ask about each individual crew member for some additional backstory on their location and why they're not speaking to the captain. After you're done with the captain, you can track the One Last Drink quest from your journal in Avowed. The quest gives you three markers on your map that show the general location of all three crew members. They are scattered all around Shatterscarp, so let's go over where to find each member and how to convince them to come have a drink with Captain Ngunu. Tauwe First up is the easiest of the three crew members to find and recruit, Tauwe. Tauwe is located right in the center of the Sand Sea Oasis, which is found to the northeast of Thirdborn and south of the Shark's Teeth region. In the Sand Sea Oasis, you'll find Tauwe tending to a campfire near the front of a crystal clear blue pond. This pond is also where you can find a piece of the Totem of Revelations. All you need to do is mention the captain wants to have a drink, and the old crew member will agree to return to Thirdborn. However, he doesn't think you'll be able to get the other two crew members to follow suit. Once Tauwe agrees, you can leave the Sand Sea Oasis to find those remaining crew members. Kowha Next up is Kowha, who is conveniently located just north of Tauwe in the Shark's Teeth part of Shatterscarp. You'll have to travel to the northern tip of Shark's Teeth to find Kowha, who is distraught over dreamthralls taking over his friends. Fortunately, all you need to do is go to the party camp waystone that's located directly south of the mine. From there, walk west and hug the mountain on your right side. Finishing One Last Drink in Avowed

The second-to-last step of the One Last Drink quest is optional, and it will alter the outcome of the quest. After speaking to all three crew members, you can head back to Thirdborn and investigate the lighthouse located above the Fleetmaster's Perch. At the top of the lighthouse, use some lockpicks to open up a lockbox and find a vial of Ngunu's Poison inside. You can also find a book called "Perilous Plants and Where to Pick Them" on a desk nearby. Grab both of these items before leaving the lighthouse.

This essentially confirms that Ngunu is planning to kill all of the crew members who go to Thirdborn to have a drink with the captain. With this new information, you can return to Ruanga and hatch a plan to turn the tables on the captain. Ruanga agrees and she will now go to Thirdborn. The plan is to poison Ngunu and Tauwe and save Kowha since Tauwe and the captain seem to be on the plan together.

Once you have spoken to all three crew members and/or completed the optional step, you can return to Thirdborn. Inside the bar, you'll be asked by the bartender to bring some drinks to Captain Ngunu, who is already meeting with his crew in the upstairs part of the building.

You can deliver the drinks, which prompts you to make a choice. You can either give Ruanga and Kowha the poisoned rum or give Ngunu and Tauwe the poisoned rum. You can make a choice between what side you want to pick, but you're essentially killing half of the crew. After you make your choice, the crew will toast, and two of them will die.

If you skip the optional step of finding the poison, Runaga will never show up and Kowha will die after drinking the rum. Ngunu barely even comments on this, and the One Last Drink quest ends in Avowed. Any way it plays out and regardless of who you kill, you earn roughly 200 XP for completing the side quest. Ngunu will also give you the Ring of Prosperity's Fortune for your efforts before he dies, if you take that route.
