InZoi is a life simulation game that prides itself on its immersive experience and photorealistic graphics, but it reintroduces the age-old question: can you run it?
There haven’t been many competitors in the life sim genre, and the latest The Sims installment has been over a decade ago. As InZoi is much more demanding on hardware than EA’s long-running series, it’s important to know if your PC can handle the experience before you play.
Here are the InZoi system requirements, including a few visuals of each graphic setting so you know what to expect.
InZoi system requirements
Originally, developer Krafton released the minimum and recommended system requirements on the InZoi Steam page, but they’ve provided more details on what you’ll need to run InZoi at minimum, medium, recommended and high settings:
PC Specs Minimum Medium Recommended High OS Windows 10/11 64-bit Windows 10/11 64-bit Windows 10/11 64-bit Windows 10/11 64-bit Processor Intel i5 10400 | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Intel i7 11700 | AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D Intel i7 12700K | AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Intel i7 14700K | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Memory 12 GB RAM 16 GB RAM 16 GB RAM 32 GB RAM Graphics NVIDIA RTX 2060 (6G VRAM) | AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT (6G VRAM) NVIDIA RTX 3060 (8G VRAM) | AMD Radeon RX 6600 (8G VRAM) NVIDIA RTX 3070 (8G VRAM) | AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16G VRAM) NVIDIA RTX 4080 (16G VRAM) | AMD Radeon RX7900 XTX (24G VRAM) DirectX Version 12 Version 12 Version 12 Version 12 Network Internet connection required Internet connection required Internet connection required Internet connection required Storage 40 GB 50 GB 60 GB 75 GB
Minimum, medium, recommended, high spec differences
Developers Krafton have also released a YouTube video that provides you with a glimpse of what your game will look like on at each optimal settings tier.
The video above runs through multiple gameplay scenarios that you’ll encounter, such as your Zois interacting with other Zois, performing actions, and a bird’s eye view.
There aren’t any extreme differences in quality between the higher tiers, but for those looking to jump between minimum and medium settings (which is a large portion of Steam users according to the Feb. 2025 Steam Hardware and Software Survey), there are some pretty apparent differences.
While we wait for the InZoi release on March 28, you can read our hands-on preview of the game, which describes it as “undeniably pretty, but lacks substance.”
