Large butcher block desk anti-sag

I'm wanting to make a large butcher block computer desk, about ~80"x~30". I am sure a desktop of thay size will sag over time with standard non obstructive legs, and I don't necessarily have any problem with building a frame/legs assembly, aside from wanting to keep it looking minimalistic and not notably bulky. If building my own legs/support is the most efficient option, I wouldn't mind a woodworking project, but I wanted to ask everyone else's opinions, and what you would do in my shoes. Have any of you mounted beams of some sort across the underside of a table/desk of this sort? Would that be effective on its own? submitted by /u/leebonakiss [link] [comments]
