Fence Position Question
Hello! I'm wondering if I could get anyone else's opinion about how far to bring out our new fence we are installing. The current fence in the photo is decades old and we'd like to bring out further to give a bigger side/back yard. In each of these options, we will be extending the fence to the house and putting in a gate to access the side door. https://imgur.com/a/QyD5nUk Option 1: Bring the fence line forward ~6' to just behind the window line. Option 2: Bring the fence line forward ~12' to just behind the red burning bush. While option 2 would give us more space for a patio on the side of the house, our biggest concern with option 2 is we would have this fence be 4 feet of stockade with 2 feet of lattice on top and the window is only about 3 feet from the ground to the bottom of the window and would split our front window 's view. Would this look odd?
