League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2025 Summer Finals will take place in Madrid, Spain from September 26th to 28th.

The event, which sees EMEA’s best teams compete for valuable Worlds qualification places, follows the highly successful LEC Roadtrip, hosted by Movistar KOI.

The road trip, which also took place in Spain, saw GIANTX come away with a landmark victory over G2.

The LEC Summer Split finals matches will take place at the Caja Mágica sports arena. However, it has been revealed that EMEA Masters, Riot Games’ tier-two competition, will not be part of the LEC Summer Finals show this year.

Furthermore, the LEC XPO will also take place throughout the weekend, with an array of experiences at Plaza de España, from September 27th to 28th, 2025. Activities include meeting LEC teams, LEC partner activities and more, without the need for a ticket.

Ticket sales will go live at May 12th, 2025 at 5pm CET via Ticketmaster. Fans can purchase up to four tickets per day, and there will also be dedicated ticket allocations to partnered LEC teams. Fans can pre-register ahead on Ticketmaster’s official webpage to be notified as soon as tickets go live.

GIANTX Claims Historic Win at LEC Roadtrip

News about the Summer Split Finals comes shortly after the LEC Roadtrip in Madrid, where GIANTX claimed victory over G2 in a three-map series. However, its loss to KOI — hosts of the event — prevented GIANTX from having a near-perfect weekend.

The LEC Roadtrip is a pilot initiative for the LEC 2025 season. It includes a series of Group Stage games for the Spring Split being held by select organisations. Movistar KOI, an organisation led by Ibai Llanos, was one of the teams selected alongside French organisation Karmine Corp.

Spain’s LEC Roadtrip reportedly featured over 10,000 spectators at the Madrid Arena over two days, with the success of the event prompting calls for more esports events to be hosted in the country.

For now, all eyes are back on Berlin as teams strive for a place in the LEC Spring Split Playoffs.
