Looking for recommendation to press drill alternative / kayak rack
Hello DIY folks! I'm not the handiest person in the world and I've build a kayak rack at the cottage as a DIY project this summer. I can handle the basics but I now need to drill holes in a perpendicular way to put bolts which will hold wood beams together. I suspect the right answer is a drill press, but I don't have one, and these seem to be hard to find in rental locations and no friends of mine have one. So since I own a cordless drill can I add a "mount" of sorts to achieve the same result? If not, I might just get one used, what would be the red flags to look out for?
