Need help with plumbing...

Ok so have a leaky faucet and so time to change the valve stems... np I took the old ones with me and got the exact same parts. But when I tried to install them, it doesn't stay, it doesn't have anywhere to twist it on or anything. It's one of those push in and plastic so can't be tightened into the rough in valve for a sure and secure fit......and for some reason it even with just a tiny bit of water pressure, it pops out. So how did they have the old one work And fit, but somehowThe ones that I got dont have anything to connect to the rough in valve but are exactly the same??? How do I fix this problem??? Please help!! submitted by /u/BeckyShep420 [link] [comments]
