New dishwasher, didn’t previously have one. How do I connect it to power?
We just got a new 18in dishwasher to install next to the sink. We had to opt for a smaller one as the cabinet wouldn’t allow for any bigger. Our garbage disposal wiring goes through the cabinet and then behind the wall where the dishwasher will go. I’m guessing it’s hardwired. Not completely sure. We don’t have an outlet under here anywhere unless it’s behind the cabinet/wall where the garbage disposal cord goes. What are the steps going to be to be able to power the dishwasher? What will I need. How does it work? I’m clueless.
