Removed giant mirror from fireplace…. Now- what to do with the messed up wall behind it?
Hi all. I removed a giant, 80s-tastic mirror which used to cover the entire shaft of my fireplace. The wall behind the mirror got damaged a lot and I’m wondering whether or not I can repair the issue myself. In addition to some drywall/plaster damage, the fireplace mantle seems to have pulled away from the wall a bit.
