Removing mantel brick
Looking for guidance. Want to remove these mantel bricks and mantel to hang a tv above fire place. It’s too high for viewing if I hang above current mantel. Painting fireplace white and fireplace black. Assume I can hang the tv on these full bricks. Angle grinder with diamond wheel? Try and cut brick flush to rest of bricks. Figure painting it all white it will match or close easily. The tv should cover this area? Or do I keep them in place e and just use a pull out tv bracket vs flush mount?
