Sealing fiberboard edges of sink cut out on countertop?
We are installing an inexpensive Home Depot engineered butcher block countertop in a second kitchen area in our home. It has a veneer layer over particleboard. (Please - no comments like “get a better countertop/avoid particleboard”) I read somewhere that it’s a good idea to seal the particleboard board edges where the cutout is made for the drop in sink. I don’t know what kind of product to buy to do this. Have looked at various solutions but there are too many. What would you use to seal those edges without having issues with sink fit or mess, dries relatively fast, etc? Thanks. submitted by /u/jaluvic11 [link] [comments]
