InZOI could be the next big entrant in the world of life sim video game titles, but there's not much luck for those who game on their consoles. The hyped release is scheduled for a global release on March 28, and it will be available via Steam. Naturally, many gamers have been wondering about KRAFTON releasing the game on consoles (at least on the current-gen machines). Unfortunately, console users will have to be patient as InZOI will not launch on either Xbox or PlayStation consoles. Why will InZOI not be released on consoles? InZOI is not the first title that will be released exclusively on PC, and it largely has to do with its early access nature. Early access games are typically released on Steam as developers continue to work in tandem with the players. In fact, a lot of AAA titles, like Baldur's Gate 3, weren't released on consoles till it was under early access. The console release happened only after we got a full launch on PC. If we do end up getting a console release, I predict it to happen at the end of the first quarter in 2026. It's worth noting that a lot of early access states often extend, so mid-2026 is a more realistic release date. For the time being, there's not much option for console users if they want to play InZOI. It's the same thing with Schedule 1, which is turning out to be a surprise hit with PC gamers.
