After several online Majors and qualifiers, the RLCS Raleigh Major will finally take place across June 26th to 29th, 2025.
The second Major LAN event of the 2025 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) sees 16 teams from around the world compete for prize money and valuable RLCS Points to secure a place at September’s RLCS World Championship.
A team’s performance at the RLCS Raleigh Major this weekend is crucial, as it is the last Major in the calendar. As such, Esports Insider has detailed everything there is to know about the Major to keep fans in the loop ahead of the competition.
RLCS Raleigh Major 2025 Format
Emanating from the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, the event will see all 16 teams compete in the Swiss Stage. Teams compete in best-of-five matches against each other based on their win-to-loss record. After five rounds, only eight teams will qualify for the Playoffs.
The Playoffs use the double elimination bracket, where the top four teams from the Swiss Stage begin with two chances to avoid elimination. Meanwhile, the fifth to eighth-ranked teams will start in the lower bracket immediately.
All Playoff matches are contested over a best-of-seven series.
RLCS Raleigh Major 2025 Teams to Watch

Participating teams for the event were determined by regional rankings and the points earned from the Birmingham Major, along with online competitions.
Defending RLCS Major champions Karmine Corp head into the event with an excellent opportunity to cement its position at the top of the European region. Backed by a hugely passionate fan base, expect a strong showing from the team on the big stage
From a North American perspective, Spacestation Gaming look to build on the momentum earned by taking home the North America Open 6 title and closing the gap on the region’s frontrunners, NRG.
Elsewhere, Team Vitality hopes to rekindle some of the magic that has made the French organisation the most successful organisation in the history of Rocket League esports. With two defending world champions in its starting line-up, there’s always a chance of the team making a deep run in the tournament.
