Addition has no basement, floors are freezing cold

We bought our house 8 years ago and the previous owners built an addition in the 70’s. It’s approximately 500 square feet and houses our bedroom, bathroom and sun room. There is no basement underneath. Upon checking it out my H realized that there’s insulation and then plywood covering it. The floors are absolutely freezing in the winter. We live in New England and it’s just brutal. We have one kid and one on the way and it’s just become too much to continue suffering. We cover the bathroom tile with so many bath mats we may as well put in carpet at this point
