How to get Oak Wood in RuneScape Dragonwilds

The requirements for better weapons and tools in RuneScape Dragonwilds mean that you'll constantly need new resources, and Oak Wood should be high on your priority list. While the Stone Logging Axe can cut through the Ash trees in Bramblemead Valley, it falls short when you come across Oak Trees. The game will tell you the need for a stronger axe if you come across an Oak Tree. Ideally, the Bronze Axe is far more powerful than the Stone variant, and it helps you get Oak Wood. How to collect Oak Wood in RuneScape Dragonwilds The first step will be to level up your Woodcutting skills and gain access to the furnace. You are required to make the Bronze Axe, which is necessary to get Oak Wood. To start things off, get access to the Fractured Plains region. This region is located north of the Whispering Swamp, with ores containing Tin and Copper. You can obtain both items by mining ores all over Fractured Plains. Once you have enough of both, you'll need the Furnace. The blueprint for this workstation is available after you mine Clay for the first time. Here's the full recipe for crafting a Furnace. 24x Stone 10x Fire Runes 8x Clay 8x Vault Shards 4x Charcoal After completing your Furnace, combine Copper and Tin Ores in it. Add charcoal in the middle, which acts as fuel. You can get Charcoal by burning Ash Wood in a Kiln. All three materials have to be smelted together to turn them into Bronze Bars. Smithing Forge has plenty of other tools and weapons that you can make at the work station, so building it should be high on your priority list. 5x Bronze Bars 4x Ash Logs 2x Coarse Thread Once done, the next job is to find the Oak trees on the map. These trees have wider trunks compared to Ash Trees. Equip the Bronze Axe from your inventory, and swing at the Oak Tree. You'll get Oak Wood after a few chops. Keep chopping to add the maximum amount of Oak Wood to your inventory. Sadly, there's no specific spot as such that you can target to increase the yield of Oak Wood. How to use Oak Wood in RuneScape Dragonwilds Oak Wood is no different from how you use Ash Logs. However, Oak wood is far more sturdy. Any structure you build with it will have more hit points, and it will be able to sustain more damage before requiring repairs/reconstruction. The same applies to any tool you might make with this particular type of wood. Tools made with Ash Logs tend to crumble quite easily, and you must repair them frequently to use them. Tools made with Oak Wood are stronger in comparison. Some more advanced recipes (tools and weapons) also exclusively use Oak Wood; it is a natural upgraded resource required for everything that requires wooden materials.
