Amazon Slashes Prices on PS5 DualSense Edge Controllers for the PlayStation Days of Play Sale
Play like a pro.

If you’ve been eyeing the DualSense Edge for your PS5, now’s your chance to snag one at a discount during the PlayStation Days of Play sale. Amazon currently has this pro-level controller for $30 off its regular price for both colors. Unlike the standard DualSense, the Edge rarely sees price drops, making this a great time to pick one up and save in 2025.
Both the White and Midnight Black versions are on sale, so hit the link below for the deal or keep reading to learn more about what makes the DualSense Edge a must-have controller for PlayStation enthusiasts.
DualSense Edge Wireless Controller Deal at Amazon
The DualSense Edge is Sony’s first attempt at a true pro-style controller, and it absolutely delivers. It retains all the signature DualSense features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, but adds meaningful upgrades including customizable back buttons, swappable thumbsticks, new Function buttons, and more.
Arguably its best feature is the removable thumbstick modules. If a thumbstick fails or suffers from stick drift, you can replace it with an official part (available on Amazon for $20) instead of buying an entirely new controller.
In my DualSense Edge review, I praised the built-in software, which is accessed via the new Function button. Specifically, "creating, editing, and swapping profiles is extremely intuitive and the slick interface makes for an engaging experience throughout."
The DualSense Edge also comes with a matching hardshell case to house the extra components like the thumbstick replacements, back buttons, and braided USB-C charging cable, while keeping your controller protected during travel.
Should you buy a regular Dualsense controller instead?
If you're looking at getting the DualSense Edge, it's worth noting that almost all of the regular PS5 DualSense controller colors are also currently on sale as well. There's a pretty big difference in price between the Edge and the standard DualSense, so it's worth considering your options carefully. There are some key differences between the two controller types, but which one you buy really comes down to how important customization you're looking for. If you're a casual gamer who doesn't need the ability to customize your profile or replace your thumbsticks, the cheaper DualSense controller will work just fine.
