Bedroom Door Won't Close - Due to Shifting ?
Hi there. Maybe due to settling over the past 10+years, as evident from the cracks that have formed in the walls and ceiling, our bedroom door no longer closes. The first few years, it was only seasonal, now it seems permanent. Please see the two included pictures showing where the door hits the upper door frame ( I think this is called the "door head"?). The hardware store guy says I can simply remove the door trim/casing and re-shim. How would you guys recommend I go about this? THANK YOU! https://preview.redd.it/nwrvcw7klime1.jpg?width=2252&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0fa70d2a01d8a86e2635ae4d9f9aeb193163daa6 https://preview.redd.it/feu8wauklime1.jpg?width=1117&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=43979c4dbbcaadbc0b5f478b5337337f1d2f170a submitted by /u/JustKickItForward [link] [comments]
