Building a post to hang water hose
I’m going to set a post to mount a water hose reel. I have a pressure treated 4x4x8, a 50 lb bag of quikrete, and a can of spray paint. I have all the tools I’ll need. Questions I have are: How deep do I need to set the post? Do I need gravel in the bottom of the hole? The post feels pretty wet. I just bought it today. Do I need to let it dry before painting?
