Ceiling Fan Box too Narrow
I took down two of my ceiling fans to replace, and realized the box did not fit the included brackets. The box is 3.5 in apart, but the fan mounting bracket requires 4 in. It says to mount fan to post and not ears on the box Not sure what options I have, seen other post with this issue, but there boxes were not fan rated while these claim they are. submitted by /u/mikeydmac [link] [comments]
